Teacher: Mr Paine
Teaching Assistants: Mrs Lethbridge / Miss Furneaux / Mrs Davies
Welcome to Bodmin class, home of the year 5 and 6 children. Here in the top end of KS2 we have 26 children. The class teacher in Bodmin is Mr Paine, supported by the wonderful Mrs Lethbridge, Mrs Davies and Miss Furneaux. We have an extremely fun and engaging curriculum planned for this spring term during which children will be stretched and appropriately challenged. We have an exciting trip planned to Exeter RAMM; this fits nicely with our topic for the term, Ancient Egypt. Children will have the opportunity to take part in workshops as well as explore the museum. SATS preparation will be high on the agenda this term, this is to best prepare them for the upcoming assessments in May. Children in KS2 will be expected to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of year 5 and 6 children, this added responsibility is an important way of growing into life after Boasley Cross.
Please see curriculum overview for further details on the children’s learning.
Best wishes, Mr P.
