Welcome to Boasley Cross Community Primary School

Boasley Cross Primary School is a thriving cross roads school, which serves the village of Bratton Clovelly  and the surrounding area. Although the village is 3 miles away we have excellent links with our community and strongly value the family type atmosphere within our school.  Boasley Cross will have 53 pupils on roll aged 4 to 11 by Summer 2012, the majority of whom will then feed into Okehampton College. Boasley Cross employs 11 dedicated staff and education has been provided on this site since the 1800’s. We are committed to providing an excellent education for our children and have extremely supportive parents and governors. We are proud of our children’s achievements and the many ways in which they are prepared for the challenges of life and the world around them. When you visit our school, you will meet polite, well behaved children who take great pride in themselves and our school.

The School has been awarded the Sports England Activemark Award in recognition of our promotion of daily physical activity both within and outside the school day. We also have the ‘Healthy Schools Award’ and the ‘Devon Inclusion Award, which celebrates our ability to meet the needs of all our pupils. We hold the Silver Award for our Travel plan and are committed to encouraging parents to car share.
